How to delete your account
You can delete your Tezly account from the mobile app. Here is how it works and what happens to your data.
Before you start
- Deletion is reversible for 30 days: if you log in again within that period, your account is restored exactly as it was.
- After 30 days your account and all related data are permanently deleted. That step cannot be undone.
- If you have a delivery in progress, you cannot delete your account yet. Finish the delivery first.
Step by step
- 1
Log in to the app
Open the Tezly app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
Deletion is only available in the mobile app, not on the website.
- 2
Open Settings
Go to your Profile tab and tap Settings.
- 3
Tap Delete Account
Scroll to the bottom of the settings list, below Log out.
- 4
Confirm
Read the warning and confirm with Delete Account.

What we must keep, and why
Some information cannot be deleted immediately. We keep the following:
| What | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction and accounting records | 7 years | Required by Estonian accounting and tax law |
| Records relating to an open dispute, investigation or legal claim | Until the matter is closed | Establishing or defending legal claims |
| A limited record of accounts closed for breach of our Terms | 3 years | Preventing the same person from registering again |
| Reports made about your content or conduct | 3 years | Legal obligations relating to illegal content |
Copies held in our backups are overwritten within a further 90 days.
Ratings and reviews you gave to other users stay visible, because removing them would change other people's records. They are anonymised so they are no longer linked to you.
Identity verification data is held by our verification provider under its own retention policy. When you delete your account we ask the provider to delete what it holds for you, unless the law requires it to keep it.
Where records must be kept, we reduce them to what is necessary and do not use them for anything else.
If you change your mind
Log in again before the 30 days are up, with the same email, phone or social account. The deletion request is cancelled and your account continues where it left off.
